Looking through the last 10 years of photos has been a beautiful reflection of how far we have come as a company. Consistent throughout it all has been always holding close our friendships with talented collaborators that have helped make Are Studio possible, as well as develop the visual identity that feels truly unique to us.

- Our SS16 lookbook set with Tom Kelly Slack and friends Kayten Schmidt and Sabine Hallauer. Our first official collection that established our aesthetic and design style. 2016.

- Nastassia Conquet, a friend and frequent collaborator during the early days of Are Studio, photographing a bag we made in collaboration with Shaina Mote. 2019.

- Yours truly carrying online orders in the Large Box Tote, which was designed specifically for hauling your orders from the studio to be shipped. 2023.

- On set of our SS24 Lookbook set with photographer Jane Dylan Cody featuring Magnus in the incredible space created by our friend Samantha at Fig and Oak showroom. 2023

- Victor’s studio where he sews Edition 02 of our Studio Shirts. 2024.

- Amara bags in the studio. One of several collaborations that we’ve done over the years with our friend Shaina Mote. 2022.

- Our debut of the Canvas Box Totes was shot in my back yard by Jane and featured friends Brian, Kristin, and Sabine. 2021.

- The NYC showroom collective. Shaina Mote, Arc Objects and Are Studio have been showing together for wholesale appointments since 2022 twice a year in an intimate space that Arc Objects calls home. 2022.

- A notebook I started in 2017 that holds rough drawings of bag concepts that I then develop further with pencil on graph paper and much erasing. 2022.

- Leather swatch documentation. There are so many of these kinds of photos on my phone that document which colors I’m considering using for the upcoming collection. 2021.

- Posing in the studio among the bags for an interview and not used to being in front of the camera! 2019.

- Our Brooklyn, NY month-long pop-up alongside Shaina Mote. The two of us and her husband installed the space together right after isolating during the pandemic.  We were so excited to invite friends and New York customers through our doors. 2021.

- A soiree among friends at our collective Paris showroom. 2018.

- Loveliest Devan on set of an editorial shoot in my backyard. We have taken advantage many times of this beautiful wide open garden that gets full sun all year around. 2019.

- A peek at one of the family run businesses that we partner with for our cowhide customizations. 2018.

- Sabine on set of one of our lookbook shoots in 2016 when we were making both clothing and leather bags to launch Are Studio.  We have partnered with Sabine many times over the years, including our most recent SS26 campaign, completing a full circle of 10 years between our first shoot together and our latest one. 2016.

- In the Fall of 2020, we shot an editorial with Nastassia at the Noguchi Garden, still needing to create images for our collections, despite the limitations of the pandemic and working outside as much as possible. 2020.

- Preparing for a photoshoot with friend Kieley Kimmel, a long time collaborator that has styled many of our projects. 2019.

- Another shoot in my backyard with talented friends assisting during the summer heat. Always hair and makeup by the most talented Hayley Farrington. 2021.

- A corner of the manufacturing studio run by Alex, who we have partnered with to make our bags since the very beginning of Are Studio in 2015 when we were making samples and navigating a new venture. 2024.

- Daniela of Arc Objects modeling our collaborative Almond belt, which married our two mediums and was an incredibly fun project to work on with one of my closest friends over the years. 2016.

- On set together in 2024 with one of my closest and dearest friends, Jane Dylan Cody, who has been our in-house photographer for the last three to four years. She began working with me in late 2018 helping to do all things that needed to be done for Are Studio and has grown into an intimate collaborator, lending her discerning eye and expertise to our creative direction, styling and photography for all shoots. A truly team effort from the beginning with a lot of heart behind it all.
